Gallery 732 Hosts Local Area Artists' Shows
Our prestigious art gallery has been showing the work of local artists for decades. Housed in the former library of the Clubhouse, the Gallery shows artists who have had either commercial success or have been in at least one juried show. A different artist is featured bi-monthly throughout the year. Being an artist is not a requirement for sitting on the Gallery Board. Assistance is given for locating artists interested in showing their work. Each Board member is required to be the sponsor of one artist per year. The Gallery Board meets the first Friday of every month from
10:30-11:30am.
Come Visit Us! Free and open to the public Tuesday thru Saturday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and during special events.
Art displayed is available for purchase.
Gallery 732 Presents:
Richard Willett
A primarily self taught artist, Richard began painting almost sixty years ago when he received a small set of black and white pastel sticks and an instructional book as a gift. He soon began making frequent trips to the library to learn more and more about painting techniques. As time passed, work and family obligations began to push his pastime further into the background.
Retirement finally provided the free time to revisit his old love, He bagan to devote more time to the arts by taking classes and workshops in watercolor, pastel, wood carving and ceramics with area artists. Richard entered art shows and has received several recognition awards at various venues.
Richard enjoys painting a wide range of subject matter which include, yet are not limited to landscapes, still lifes, and portraits, many inspired by travel experiences and sites. He thoroughly enjoys sharing his gift, with his only artisitc goal being continual improvement.
There will be a reception for Richard on October 24th from 5-7 pm in the Gallery. Come and meet Richard, view his work and enjoy some light refreshments.
